A famous Filipino folk dance in which dancers must use good skill and balance as they dance on top of a bench roughly six inches wide

Dancers showcase their skills while constantly trading places.

As opposed to competing with each other to stay on the bench, dancers must complement each other to ensure that they do not fall.

That's it for this week. I'm sure you're chomping at the bit to respond.

See you then for the answer!

Jeopardy! Week One

Filipiniana

Who doesn't love Jeopardy!?

A staple of American pop culture, the show has entertained television audiences with its familiar jingle and Aha! moments since 1964.

Featuring a quiz competition, contestants are presented with general knowledge clues in the form of answers, and must phrase their responses in the form of questions.

Over time, it has received a record 39 Daytime Emmy Awards as well as a Peabody Award. In 2013, it ranked number 45 on TV Guide's list of the 60 greatest shows in American television history.

That being said, I thought it might be interesting to challenge you to play my version of this show. Here goes!

***

From the Columbus stage and My.Blog studio, this is JEOPARDY! Welcome.

Let's meet today's contestants - Senior One, Big Sis, and Little Sis (that's you, my faithful readers).

There will be only one clue per show for this especial series. All correct questions will each be worth 25 points.

The one who earns the most points after the series will get a FREE MEAL at a restaurant of his/her choice.

There will also be only one category: FILIPINIANA.

Are you ready? Here's this week's clue.

A Filipino sort-of-bidet

A water scooper/mini bucket used for cleaning private areas after going number 1 and number 2

It is an almost indispensable fixture in the Filipino home.

Filipinos living overseas will bring their own or even ask their relatives to send one over if ever they forget.

That brings us to the end of this week's Jeopardy! round. Please send me your response (via text might be best).

We'll be back next week for the answer. See you then!
